Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains what information Accent Letters Copy and Paste ("we", "us", the site at accentletterscopyandpaste@gmail.com) collects when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and keep it no longer than needed.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and our partners automatically receive standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and the date and time of the visit. This is used to run the site, keep it secure, understand which pages are useful, and show advertising.
The copy tools
The letters you click, the text you build in the copy box and the text you paste into the remove accents tool stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our partners use cookies, web beacons and local storage to measure traffic and to serve and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the copy tool still works without them. Details are in our cookie policy.
Advertising
We use third-party advertising companies to show ads when you visit. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites to show ads for goods and services that may interest you.
Google AdSense and the DoubleClick cookie
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Other advertising partners
We may work with other ad management partners such as Ezoic, Mediavine, Journey by Mediavine or Raptive, and the demand partners they use. These partners may collect and process data, including IP address, device identifiers and browsing activity, to serve, personalise and measure ads and to prevent fraud. When we work with such a partner, its privacy disclosures are added to this page. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform asks for your choices before personalised ads are shown.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed and time on site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and secure the site.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve them.
- To show advertising that keeps the site free.
- To answer your messages.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; see below for how to opt out.
Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR)
Our legal bases are your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time through the consent message or your browser settings. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Your rights in the United States (CCPA, CPRA and other state laws)
Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. To use these rights, email accentletterscopyandpaste@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request" or use any "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link shown by our ad partners. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where required. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with them. Data collected by partners is kept according to their own policies. The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission is completely secure.
